Murcar
Murcar Links Golf Club
Aberdeen's other great links. Wilder, more rugged, and every bit as good as its famous neighbour.
Murcar sits in the shadow of Royal Aberdeen — which is both understandable and entirely unfair. It is a magnificent links in its own right: tumbling, dramatic terrain, deep rough, fast greens, and the North Sea pressing in from the east with the kind of indifference that only the Scottish coast can manage. Golfers who play both invariably leave with more affection for Murcar than they expected. It has that effect. Rawer than its neighbour, less celebrated than it deserves, and on the right morning — when the light comes low across the dunes and the sea is doing something extraordinary — one of the most photogenic courses in the north of Scotland. These prints exist because that morning deserves better than a phone camera.
Each print is shot on location at Murcar Links and produced to fine art archival standards on 310gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Strictly numbered at A2, officially licensed by the club, never reprinted once the edition closes.
Underrated by the world. Not by us. 100 A2 editions only.
